Eulah May Walters was born in the District of Mandeville in Jamaica on October 6, 1929, to Lester and Pearl Jones. After her mother took ill, she was raised by her Aunt Vy, her father's sister. In Jamaica, Eulah was trained as a seamstress and then worked as such in London, England where she migrated after World War II.
It was in London where she met and married her husband and fellow immigrant from Mandeville, Kenneth Roy Walters in 1951. Together they moved to the United States and New York City where they raised their children, Jennifer, Kenneth Jr, Robert, and Wendell. In 1990 they both retired to Melbourne, Florida in the Suntree community.
After Kenneth passed in August 2022 and Jennifer in 2019 (who was also a resident of Palm Bay and Melbourne), she is survived by her three children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sisters, a sister-in-law, and daughters-in-law upon her passing on December 28, 2022.
