Frances J. Blanco

Born in Buffalo, New York, Frances came to Brevard in 1979. She was a faithful member of Ascension Catholic Community and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary there. She was an avid Pinochle player and a member of Social Club 73.

Frances loved traveling with her husband, Salvatore, who predeceased her in 2006. Together, they explored the United States in their traveling trailer. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed seeing her family get their fill of traditional Italian food in addition to different cuisines from all around the globe. She enjoyed spending time tending to her plants, singing, dancing and living life to the fullest. Her family will always remember her love for sweet treats, in particular, her favorite Cadbury Fruit and Nut bars and ice cream with a dollop of peanut butter.

Frances is predeceased by her adoring husband, Salvatore and son, Joseph Blanco.

She is survived by her daughter, Angeline Gasior; grandchildren, Lena Johnson, Jacqueline Leierer, Eric Blanco, Jonathan Gasior and Cory Blanco; great-grandchildren, Riley Blanco, Violet Leierer, Chloe Blanco; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Frances will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Life Event Center At Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL, with interment to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Frances's memory to Ascension Catholic Community.
