George Courtney, 85, of Cocoa, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Wuesthoff Health Systems Hospice and Palliative Care. He was born in Mahwah, NJ and came to Brevard County in 1954. George worked as a manager for PanAmerican World Services, later Johnson Control, in the Guided Missile Range Division and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Myrna L. Courtney; sons, Kevin (Peggy) Courtney, Vince (Beth) Courtney, and Stephen (LeAnne) Courtney; five grandchildren, Erik, Anthony, Connor, Ashlee, and Evan. An inurnment service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1:00pm at Florida Memorial Gardens.
