George E. Rodriguez, 87, a retired aeronautical engineer, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his home. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and came to Brevard County in 1986 from Texas.
He was a member of Tailhook and the Navy League, received his Bachelors Degree from Mississippi State and his Masters from USC. He was a Navy Commander and a fighter pilot.
George is survived by his wife, Jeannine; children, Patricia (Mark) and David (Karen); and grandchildren, Jordan, Jeanna, Emilee, Drake, and Malea.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Florida Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in George's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
