Glada Prinkey Connor

Born to Eternity July 28, 2025

Glada Prinkey Connor, age 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 28, 2025, at St. Francis Life Care Center in Melbourne, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mayme Prinkey, brother, Robert Prinkey, sister Vanetta Proctor, husband Walter H. Connor, children James R. Connor and Sue Ellen Connor and grandson Andrew Connor and great-granddaughter Aubrie N. Alcott, and Andrew Connor.

Glada is survived by her sons, William E. Connor (Barbara) of Ft. Meade, Florida, David Connor of Manhattan, Kansas, Jonathan Connor of Melbourne, Florida and her daughter Cynthia L. Aho (George) of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Glada enjoyed cruising, reading, watching ice skating, tennis, and her St. Paul’s Anglican Church and School family.

Viewing will be on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10-11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 7200 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32940 with Requiem Mass to follow at 11:15 am. Glada will be joining her husband of 51 years at 1 p.m. at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida. A reception will follow at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.
