Helen Hoak Bradford, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013. She was born in Luray, VA to James Luther Hoak and Annie Lee Miller Hoak. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Helen is survived by her two sons, WIlliam S. (Gail) Bradford Jr. of Orlando, FL and Richard H. Bradford of south Florida; daughter, Dover S. (Greg) Shull; granddaughter, Shelby Shull of Melbourne, FL; and sister, Annie (Wardell) Housden of Luray, WV. She is preceded in death by her husband, William S. Bradford; a grandson, William S. "Tre" Bradford III; two sisters, Katherine Huffman and Dover Bishop; and five brothers, Isaac Hoak, Paul Hoak, Albert Smith, Claude Smith, and Rufus Smith.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 10-11 a.m., with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. Entombment will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens.
