Born in Detroit, MI, Helen and Harold resided in Southfield and Bloomfield Township where they raised their family. The Tishkens retired to Cocoa, FL in 1975, later settling on Merritt Island. Helen was an active member of her local newcomer group.
Survivors include Roger Tishken (Catherine), Dennis Tishken, Cynthia Price (David), Keith Tishken (Eileen); six grandchildren, Taryn, Lynsey and Tyler Price, Ryan Tishken, William and Caroline Tishken.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Stanley Janice, Wandy Rutt, Victoria Thompson and Constance Hunt.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, July 28th, at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 U.S. 1, Rockledge, FL. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:00 PM at the funeral home. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
