After a wonderful and full life, at age 91, she passed away peacefully at home at Chateau Madeline Senior Living Center on September 10, 2025.
Helga was born in Bremen, Germany, in 1934 and came to Brevard County in 1963. Her passion was for communications, and she was fluent in six languages. She enjoyed a long career as a foreign language instructor in Brevard.
Helga was married and is survived by her three daughters, Nicole Ann Chapman, Karen Elizabeth Ordway and Kirsten B. McDonough, Four Grandchildren, Christopher Chapman, Carl Mullinnix, Dustin Chapman and Shadrick Mullinnix as well as three Great Grandchildren, Veada Mullinnix, June Mullinnix and Cayden Chapman.
