

James owned a commercial air conditioning business before retiring and moving to Melbourne 3 years ago.
James was a decorated US Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam, with medals including; Airborne Wings, LRRP Wings, Combat Infantrymans Badge, Ranger Tab, Purple Heart, Bronze Star and many others. He was a sniper who served with the 9th Infantry and the 24th Infantry. He belonged to the American Legion and enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time. More than anything, James adored and cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosalie Carver; son, James Robert (wife, Dana) Carver of NJ; grandchildren: Aidan and Lily Carver of NJ; sisters and brothers-in-law: Joanne(Louis) Palasak and Terrie(Ferris) Modawar; as well as many loving nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and loyal, dear friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday (11/8) at 11AM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial with military honors.
