

James Frederick Druck, 80, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. He was born on November 11, 1945, in Portland, Oregon, to the late William Frederick Druck and Lynetta Lornie Urquhart Druck.
James proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring as a CW04 after a distinguished career marked by numerous awards and commendations. Following his military service, he continued his dedication to excellence as a Pad Safety Officer with NASA in Cape Canaveral.
A man of deep faith, James was actively involved in prison ministry alongside his beloved wife, Abbie. Together, they shared a passion for serving others and living out their faith in meaningful ways. James was also known for his love of tinkering and could often be found making his daily visits to Home Depot — a place his family affectionately referred to as his “man store.”
James was preceded in death by his devoted wife of over 57 years, Abbie, whom he lovingly call his “bride.” Their enduring love was evident to all, as they were seen holding hands throughout their lives together.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Ann Caceres and son, Sean Druck; sisters, Linda Long, Sandra, Caroline; grandchildren, Jacob Caceres, Breanna Callaghan and husband Andrew, Sean T. Druck II and wife Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Abbie Callaghan.
To his children, James will always be remembered as a good and honorable man whose strength, faith, and love shaped their lives.
