James E. Jason, 95, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011. He was born January 1, 1916 in Greece. Mr. Jason was a veteran of World War II, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as a member of the Army Reserve from which he retired. He was also a restaurateur and a member of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kelly Jason; his Son Dean Jason; his three grandchildren, Brian Tedesco (Nicole), Tera Tedesco (Brian), and Alexis Sheehy; and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00. Entombment will take place at Florida Memorial Gardens. Florida Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
