Jamie passed away tragically on June 14, 2024, at the young age of 29. Born on October 24, 1994, in Islip, NY. She was raised in Melbourne, FL, and was a graduate of Viera High School Class of 2013.
She was a vibrant soul with a smile that lit up every room she entered. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion and unwavering love for those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed but her memory will live on forever.
She is survived by her parents, James and Randee Serapiglia; daughter, Payton Brooks; maternal grandmother, Laura Blitz; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Nick Vannorsdall; nephews, Mason and Ethan Vannorsdall; Payton’s dad, Tommy Brooks; and partner, Katie Whitman as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Louie and Nina Serapiglia, and maternal grandfather Jerry Blitz.
The family invites extended family, friends and all who knew and loved Jamie to join in a Celebration of Her Life on Friday July 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial (5950 South US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955).
