

Jane V. Caime (nee Mirrione), affectionately known as Bunny, passed away on September 18, 2024, in Melbourne, Florida, at the age of 82. Born on September 23, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, she spent her life nurturing a beautiful family and fulfilling career as a Special education teacher.
Jane's educational journey began at New Utrich High School, followed by the University of Central Florida, where she honed her skills and passion for education. Her career was marked by dedication to supporting and uplifting students with special needs, leaving a lasting impact on many lives.
She shared 65 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Richard Caime, and together they explored the globe, enriching their lives with diverse cultures and experiences. Jane's wit and intelligence were only matched by her lifelong devotion to the Virgin Mary, worshiping at St John the Evangelist Church in Viera, Florida.
Her hobbies included travel, reading, decorating, and cooking, each reflecting her zest for life and love for her family. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Richard; children, Linda Caime, James Caime Sj, and Nancy Caime Nelson; son-in-law, Peter Nelson; grandchildren, Lucas and Richard Nelson; niece, Rosanne Pensiero; and nephew, Jeff Karas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Mirrione; brother, Joseph Mirrione; sister, Johanna Karas; and nephew, Anthony Pensiero.
