Jerry Wayne Golson, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helga. He was a dear father to his only child, Sonya Dixon and loved by her and her husband, Tim Dixon. A Beloved Papa to a beautiful granddaughter, Morgan. Jerry was predeceased by his loving parents Shelly and Sara Nell Golson. Jerry was born in Prattville, Ala, joined the United States Air Force in 1960 and proudly served through 1988, where he retired at Patrick A.F.B and moved to Melbourne. Jerry loved sports, carpentry, and time with his family.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 U.S. Rte 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
