I sit here thinking about the most beautiful and wonderful woman that I was lucky enough to call my mom. I love you and miss you so very, very much. I think of you every minute of everyday. My heart is broken I need your strength.

Lynn, Cindy, Kolleen (and Pat is in our Prayers)  so sorry to hear the news.  Your Mom was a great Mom and a great Aunt.  In the 50's I always thought she looked and acted like a movie star.  She was vibrant, wonderful  and loved everyone.    Joan was the fun Aunt.  I often think of playing army with my cousins on the farm.  Good Memories, I love and miss you all,          cousin Bobbie

To the McKee family there are no words that I can come up with take the pain away. Stick with all great memories. 
 After a visit to our house, my husband and I discussed how much we enjoyed meeting Jo. He showed an automatic respect for her.  A very pretty and graceful lady, that goes without saying. Inside she is truly beautiful. When she speaks to you she really draws you in. As if you are the most important person and really wants to know you. I feel she enjoyed people and all their different personalities and yes accepted their flaws. 
Her delightful stories and long learned life experiences. Her eyes always sparked even more when she was telling a story of a loved one. She had a way of sharing things that might benefit you and guide you in your own personal journey in life.
Bob Simms keep your memories strong.
I loved every time she brought up the subject of you; she was always so happy and vibrant. Bob you “lit up her life”. 
Jo was a very strong woman, and I know she will want us all to be the same. 
Memories, jokes, smile and dance dance dance!

You were always there for us when we needed you. I love you and miss you.

Mrs. Simms was a very nice person. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs.Simms was the kind of lady that anyone who met her fell in love with her. I'm thankful to have known her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family. I've heard story after story about all of you and I can tell you all she thinks the world of every one of you and was always so proud of her family. I will always remember her smile.

There isn't a day that will go by that I won't be thinking of the Greatest Mom ever! I will always be grateful for the time we shared. I'll keep my eyes out for those rascally squirrels.  ;-) Love you, Lucy Lou Hoo

I was only blessed to meet you a handful of times, but in that time I could see how wonderful of a mother you were to Kolleen and Cindy.  You made those girls into the women they are today and I am blessed to know them and to have known you.  I know you are looking down on them and can be at peace with your accomplishments.

Cindy, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. I am so glad I had the chance to meet your mom. She was such a sweet person. I will always think of her whenever I put on my soft, comfy socks!

Over the many years of my life I was blessed to have Mee-Mee who never judged me and was always there to care for and love no matter what faults I had, you will be missed greatly. I Love you Mee-Mee and you will always be in my thoughts.

Mee-Mee was such a wonderful lady. She welcomed me into the family with open arms. I feel very blessed to have know her. I am very sad that the family is going through this. I know she is watching over everyone and is very proud of the strength of her family.

So very sad at "Mama Jo's" passing. She was a sweet and gentle soul. She was always easy to talk to. I'm glad to have known her.?
