John D. Andrews, Jr.

John David Andrews, Jr., age 85, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was born in Upton County, Georgia in the town of The Rock, where he accepted Christ as his Savior at The Rock Baptist Church as a young boy. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy as well as the United States Coast Guard. He was a Flight Engineer for Lockheed in Marietta, GA for 34 years. After retiring from Lockheed, he went on to work at NASA. He came to Brevard County in the early 1990s.

John is survived by his wife of 62 years Josephine (Cavender) Andrews, and their three daughters Jane Lane, Patricia Nehme and Pamela Andrews. John has a younger brother, Talmadge and three nephews, Bruce, Randy and David. He has four grandchildren, Stephanie, Michelle, Ashley and John, and four great-grandchildren Isabella, Cora, Lilly, Meira and one boy due in December 2015. He also leaves behind extended family members - Alan Lane, Rachel and Charles Nehme, Marlene Good, and John Snodgrass.

There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.

Graveside inurnment to be scheduled at a later date.
