Born in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, John made Melbourne his home in 1981 after relocating from Germany. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and dedicated much of his career as a technician for both Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin at NASA, where he contributed to the success of space exploration.
John was an active member of Calvary Chapel Church in Melbourne and found great joy in his faith and community. He will be remembered for his kindness, and generosity.
John is survived by his son, Don Coriell (Roxanne); his sister, Judith Maxian; and his beloved grandchildren, Canon, Lexi, and Kirra Coriell. He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Coriell and Roberta L. Coriell as well as his aunt, Rosemary Lerch and brother in law, Richard Maxian.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Chapel Church in Melbourne or a charity of your choice.
John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
