John Francis Schneider, 79, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2016. He graduated in 1954 from Vero Beach High School and attended the University of Florida before joining the U.S. Army in 1958. John served 4 tours overseas. He was honorably discharged in 1976 from Fort Campbell, Kentucky at which time he returned to Brevard County with his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol C. Schneider. John and Carol have a beautiful family of 5 children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition, John has a very large extended family and was a devoted servant and protector of all.
John’s memorial service will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Saturday, May 14 at 11:30 AM.
