

away on May 26, 2024, in Cocoa, Florida. He was the beloved son of Julius and Margaret
Goldfarb. John is preceded in death by his beautiful, loving sister Margaret Goldfarb and
cherished daughter, Lulu Goldfarb, who he held dear in his heart.
John is survived by his loving daughters Julie Goldfarb-Carver, Jennifer Frontera, and
always by his side, his dedicated and devoted son, Shaun Goldfarb and also, his brother
Charles Goldfarb. His legacy lives on through his three grandsons Chase, Fisher, and
Pierce, who were the light of his life. Last but not least we can’t forget his fur-kid Maggie
Goldfarb.
Throughout his life, John worked as a dedicated truck driver, showcasing his strong work
ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He found joy in being a part of his son and
grandsons' little league teams, actively participating in the North Merritt Island Little
League. He volunteered his time as a coach and being a part of the Board of directors
taking care of the grounds. He enjoyed being a part of Merritt Island High School’s Marching
band. He volunteered his time by transporting all the band equipment for the students for
every event the marching band played at from 2010-2013. John loved spending time and
creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
Fishing was John's greatest passion, instilled in him from a young age by his father. He
passed on this love of fishing to his children, creating lasting bonds through shared
experiences on the water. Additionally, he spent many happy hours bowling in Brevard
County's bowling alleys, always accompanied by his lifelong friend, Wade Smith.
Above all, John's children were the center of his world. He raised them with unwavering
dedication and love, forming unbreakable bonds that will endure beyond his passing.
Known affectionately as the “Bestest Dawdy” a kid could have, John's influence and
presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of John's life will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1, graveside
in Rockledge, Florida, on June 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM. This is for all family and friends who
knew or loved John. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brevard County
Humane Society or Brevard County’s ASPCA, organizations that were close to John's heart
due to his love for animals.
John Barry Goldfarb will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love
for his family. May his spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
