

John Matteucci, Jr., 86, of Melbourne, Florida, died on February 4, 2021. Originally from Brooklyn, NY. He proudly served in the US Army from 1955-1957. He was married to Adrienne on May 10, 1958. He worked with his father at his business, M.P. Santini Moving & Storage, until his father retired and he took over the business. After that, he drove a tractor trailer for Englander Mattress Company. He ended his working years at Langer Transport Corporation driving tractor trailers, tankers, and training new drivers. He retired to Florida and became a member of Ascension Catholic Community. He loved his family dearly and always enjoyed spending time together eating, drinking, talking and laughing around the dinner table. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne, children, John and Rachelle (Tom), grandchildren, Michael (Natane) and Linda, great granddaughter, Mekayla, step grandchildren, Liz (Stephan) and Tori, and his step great grandchildren, Emmy and Judah. His daughter, Lorraine, predeceased him, as well as his parents, John and Mary.
Wake and vigil service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, Florida. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 North Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, Florida. Committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:15 pm at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, Florida.
