John R. Newbrough, 56, of Cocoa, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center. He was born in Weirton, W. VA on October 23, 1953 to John and Marie Newbrough. John was employed with the City of Cocoa as an Electrician. John loved being in the outdoors where he spent many hours surfing, fishing, hunting and boating.
He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Newbrough; brother, Jerry Newbrough; and infant sister Charmaine Newbrough. John is survived by his mother, Marie Newbrough; brothers, Gary (Janet) and Ronnie (Theresa); sister, Gaylynn Martling (Robert); sister-in-law, Terri, and 11 nieces and nephews. A visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral service on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel.
