Joyce A. Brewer

Cocoa’s Joyce A. Brewer, 70, lost her long, courageous battle with COPD on July 24, 2015. Joyce was born in Pekin, Indiana, and moved to Cocoa in 1971, where she made a long career as a successful businesswoman in Cocoa and Brevard County. When Joyce wasn’t making a business deal, she loved to boat and fish for reds on the barge canal. Her family expresses their deep and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bobby Abraham and to the dedicated “Starfish” team at Hospice of St. Francis for their exemplary and outstanding care.

Joyce is survived by her children, Kathy Sease Wisniewski (Don) of Fredericksburg, VA, Robert Sease of Cocoa, and Ambrose “Bo” Brewer (Tracey) of Yorktown, VA; her stepchildren Josh and Jason Locklear of Cocoa; 9 grandchildren: Nicole Schneider (Eric), Kelli Hathaway (Tom), Timothy Wisniewski, Adam Sease, Nick Sease, Peyton Sease, Rachel Brewer, Alison Brewer, Jake Brewer; step-grandchildren Brittany Beninger, Brook Beninger, Alexis Locklear, Justin Locklear, Tyler Locklear; 3 great grandchildren: Landon Hathaway, Lily Sease, Adam Sease Jr.; her sister, Mary-Alice Huckleberry of Salem, IN; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Monday, July 27, from 6:30-7:30pm at Florida Memorial Life Event Center, funeral service on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:00am.
