A beloved wife, mother and daughter, June is survived by her husband, Rickey; daughters, Kristen and Kaitlin; her son, Kevin; her parents, Frank and Elizabeth Edge; and her brother, Frank Edge, and his family.
A devoted wife and mother, June was happiest when she was in the middle of an adventure with her family. Whether it was the kids' many sporting events or planning and going on exciting family vacations, the family was always together. June's wide circle of friends knew her as fiercely loyal. She was always the first to offer support to anyone in need.
June worked for FLORIDA TODAY for 27 years, most of those years in human resources, where her kind and caring nature helped countless coworkers through difficult situations.
There will be a celebration of her life held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, March 14, in the chapel at Florida Memorial Funeral Home.
June fought a courageous battle with cancer for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to The Hospice House, c/o Wuesthoff Health System, 8060 Spyglass Hill Rd., Viera, FL 32940.
