Kathy was a wonderful lady and she will be missed. I know that Deb and her are in heaven together enjoying each other!

Kathy was the mother of my best friend, Maggie.  I met Maggie, Kathy, Charlie and Claire at Lakenheath, UK. I was 18, Maggie was 17.  Maggie and quickly I quickly became friends and Kathy became like a 2nd mother to me.  She didn’t have much choice because I was at their house all the time.
She was the only mother of any of my friends who did NOT think I was a sweet innocent young girl.  And, to be sure that I was aware of this opinion, she told me, in no uncertain terms, that she was not fooled.
Although it was Maggie’s dad Charlie that was in the OSI, it was Kathy who always seemed to know where we’d been and what we’d been up to.  When our activities got Maggie in trouble, you can bet, I also got a good telling off too.
While Kathy was quick to tell me off if warranted, she never told Jenny and Barry (my mums friend who I lived with), so I only got told off once vs. two or three times which I certainly appreciated.
Kathy loved a good laugh, and I loved her laugh, it lit up the whole house.  She was a great story teller, but wanted to hear all about you too.
She was kind, wickedly sarcastic (which I enjoyed), brutally honest, clever and, so warm hearted and welcoming.
She is missed and always will be.

Well guess todays the day I’m finally able to write something, it’s taken a minute, and now that I’ve started I find it very difficult to, there’s so much I could say but I’m sure I’d run out of space and time. But first and foremost I’d like to say how grateful I am to have had a mum as wonderful as you, you did everything you could for me, you became my best friend and I know I put you through hell for a few years, until claire told me how you did the rosary and prayed to st Jude every night for me, I guess I never realized just how much hell.
Once I finally got myself together and had my own children is when it sunk in just how lucky I was, you helped me get our house you helped me with the girls, you helped me with my bank account every week, every thing I needed help with you were there.
Your accident changed a lot of our life’s but never the fact that you were still there for us no matter what.
Every holiday was a gift with you and today as we celebrate thanksgiving it just doesn’t seem right that your not here.
It’s been hard every day since you left, it’s not something I will ever get used to.
I just hope more than anything that on the day you died that you died knowing just how much you were loved, needed and appreciated.

Thinking of my adorable, cheeky, sweet, beautiful Aunty, and the whole family, today.  She was one of a kind, and even though we were separated by distance, it never felt like we were when we came together.  I have such great memories of the antics my mum and Kate got up to together (and stories I've heard from before I was born) - they may have been sisters-in-law, but it felt more like they were sisters.  Uncle Charlie, thank you for loving my Aunty so unconditionally 50+ years.  And to all the family, I love you, take care and give each other a big squeeze from me.

So very sorry to hear about Cathy. She was such a wonderful lady.  It was a joy to style her hair when Pam would be on vacation.  She will be greatly missed.

I have known Kathy (Kate) since the early 70's. Kate and I had so many things in common, which is why our friendship lasted no matter where we lived.  Our husbands were in the Air Force, we were both from Great Britain, and we were busy raising our kids. While Kate had many great qualities, I would have to say her top three were her infectious laugh, her devotion to her children and grandchildren, and her love for her husband, Charlie.  A favorite memory of mine was Kate always invited our family over for the holidays whenever we were stationed together.  They always had the most delicious food and drink and we had such a good laugh.  I will never forget those times.  
     There is no doubt in my mind that when Kate passed away she was welcomed home by our Lord and is now free of pain.  I ask our Lord God to comfort Kate's family as they mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul.  Through my faith I look forward to one day seeing Kate again knowing it will be such a joyful reunion.  One where I will hear Kate's unique and exuberant laugh.

Sincere condolences to Kathy's family and friends. Working with her for several years at Space Coast Credit Union was pure joy. You could depend on her to do the task at hand and was always willing to back you up when you needed it. I will never forget her laugh and the many times Debbie Held and I spent with her. Sending hugs and prayers.

Kathy was more of a sister to me than a sister in law.   We hit it off right from the start.  I feel very blessed  to have had this type of relationship with her.   We (our families) made so many wonderful memories together that Kathy will always be in 
my  thoughts and heart.   I will miss her and love her forever.   To Charlie, their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, I pray that God will always be with you and give you peace, comfort  and love.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss.   52 years is quite an accomplishment.   In the end your love for Kath was obvious with the way you took care of her.   Christa and I really enjoyed our visit last year.  Our prayers and condolences remain with you.

I’m sorry for the loss of Cathy. She was such a jewel. I had the honor to do her hair when she would come to Indiana and come to the salon with her sister-in-law Janice she will be missed dearly.
