Kenneth L. Flaugher, 90, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. Kenneth was born in Bowersville, Ohio. Kenneth was veteran of WWII as a member of the Army Ordinance. He worked as a manager for Ohio Bell Telephone where he was employed for 36 1/2 years. He came to Brevard County in 1985 from Springfield, Ohio. Kenneth worked at Florida Memorial Gardens for 22 years and was a member of 1st Church of Nazarene in Melbourne, and volunteered at Holmes Regional Medical Center..
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; son, Gary Flaugher; daughter, Carolyn (Wayne) Brannon; grandchildren, Chad Flaugher, David Harris, Angela Earl, Krista Speece; great- grandchildren Logan Prokop, MaKenna Earl, Brayden Earl, Camden Speece, Sarah Harris, Graden Speece, Jarrett Townsend, Braxton Townsend, Olivia Harris.
A viewing will be held Thursday May 12, 2011 from 11 am to 12 pm with a service to follow at Florida Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations in memory of Ken Flaugher to 1st Church of Nazarene, 2745 S. Babcock St., Melbourne, FL 32901 .
