Lawrence Walsh, 70 years old, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 13, 1942. Lawrence came to Brevard County in 1987 from Shelby Gap, Kentucky.
Mr. Walsh was a Diesel Mechanic at KSC Visitor Center, and a member as well as a Parishioner of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Titusville, Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Walsh; children, Mary Bertwell, Clara Caudill, Sheri Porter, Richard Walsh, Jackie Flynn; grandchildren, Terry, Charlie and Rachael Caudill, Brittany, Curtis and Madison Porter, Brandon Whaley, Megan, Matthew, and Kayla Walsh, and Tommy and Angel Flynn, Also surviving are his brothers, sisters, and nieces, Mary Lucas, Sue Caudill, Joanne Tisco, Tom Walsh, Earl Stewart, Joel Stewart, Brenda Blackwell, Connie Pena, and several more adored nephews and nieces.
There will be a visitation from 6 - 8 pm on Wednesday, July 11, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a funeral mass at 11 am on Thursday, July 12, at St. Teresa Catholic Church followed by interment at Florida Memorial Gardens.
