Marge was born in Newark, N.J. to Patrick Salmon and Elizabeth Fitzgerald Salmon. She was one of four sisters. She is survived by her sister Katherine Visconti of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Mary Fluelling and Florence Walters.
She married Dennis Lane on June 1st of 1941. Together they raised their 3 children in Hicksville, N.Y. Sons, John Lane (deceased) and Dennis Lane of Rockledge Florida and Maureen Ward of Republic, Washington. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Shannon Lane Nanus (Philip Nanus) and her 3 great grandchildren, Connor, Abigail and Liam Nanus.
While raising her family, Marge also enjoyed sewing, cooking and playing cards.
In retirement, she enjoyed travel and hosting many, "up north" relatives and friends on frequent trips to Florida.
Services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge, Florida.
