Maria Ancona, 76, of Titusville, FL went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born In Partana, Sicily on October 1, 1941. Maria started out working as a dressmaker then as a hairdresser. She ultimately owned a garment contractor business. She came out of retirement to help her grandson open Mamma Rosa’s Pizzeria in Titusville.
Maria was a loving wife of 57 years to the late Frank Ancona, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be forever missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Josie Ancona; her grandchildren, Marie and Steven; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica; her great grandchildren, Jionni and Jiselle, and her sisters and brothers.
There will be a Visitation held from 5-7 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the LIfe Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 11 am with entombment to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
