Mary Morrissette

Mary Morrissette Feb 19, 1933- Aug 15, 2024, a devoted wife, and loving mother Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Tavares Florida, she was 91. Mary was born in New York, to Italian parents. She grew up in Queens, New York, with four sisters. After being married, she gave birth to five children.

Being married to William Morrissette a veteran of the USAF, travel was common throughout the United States eventually settling in Merritt Island, Florida. She spent her time being a devoted mother and wife.

In addition to being a full-time mother she also found time to work in various jobs part-time to help make ends meet. Being a strong independent woman was an inspiration to many people whom couldn’t help but to fall in love with her. Mary was known to lighten up a room with her playful personality and warm inviting smile.

She will lovingly be remembered by her children, grandchildren, family and friends she made throughout her travels. Her beauty and kindness will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
