Mitchell A. Bloom, age 66, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at his home in Melbourne, FL. Born in January 11, 1953 in Brookline, MA. He came to Brevard County in May 2005 from Wescosville, PA and worked for Morgan Stanley as a financial planner and former engineer. Was also a member of the local Amateur Radio Club.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Bloom; daughter, Shelly Bloom; son, Joshua Bloom; brother, Eliot Bloom and extended family; grandchild, Murdoch Stevens and Cheryl Stevens as well as all the children and friends he considered family who shared his home at any point throughout his life.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Life Event Center Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL with lunch to follow. Shiva will be held at his home following the service and luncheon.
Mitch Bloom touched many lives . He welcomed all and treated everyone with kindness, love and respect. He will be loved and missed always.
