Norbert H. Billington

He was born in Staten Island, New York, on February 21st, 1933 and settled in Rockledge, FL in 2000. Bill was married to the love of his life, a devoted wife of 43 years Petra Billington. He worked and retired from Pratt Whitney Aircraft working as an Inspector for engine parts for 37 years. Bill and his wife had a passion for the outreach ministry for the Cross Bridge Church and they delivered homemade cookies to the Viera/Rockledge community. They were loyal active members and where Bill also served as a board member. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening alongside his wife. He was loved by his neighbors.

Bill was a devoted son, husband and grandfather. He was predeceased by Marie Billington his mother and beloved brother Robert Billington. He is survived by a daughter Pamela Thomas of Margate, FL. Two stepsons: Julio Cruz & daughter- in- law Denise Cruz of Willimantic, CT and Carlos Cruz & daughter- in- law Mary Cruz of Meriden, CT; and his step-daughter Miriam Cruz of South Bay, FL. He is also survived by 10 beloved grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by all of his family and dear friends who will look forward to seeing him in eternity with Jesus Christ his Lord. We will cherish all of the precious memories we have of him.

A visitation will take place at the Life Event Center on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with funeral services to follow. Interment will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. Immediately following the funeral service.
