Born in Dillon, SC, Peggy worked as a Deli Operator for Publix Supermarkets. She was a member of The Eagles Club and The American Legion Auxilliary.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, W.F. Allen of Melbourne, sons, Derek W. Nissen of Palm Bay, Fl and Timothy J. Allen of Holopaw, FL; daughter, Patsy J. Allen of Park City, FL, and 2 grandchildren, Zachary J. Allen and Marissa Allen of Holopaw, FL. She also leaves 2 brothers, Earl DuBois of Dillon, SC and Jim Owen of Palm Bay, FL, and 2 sisters, Mary Zurick of Titusville, FL, and Bonnie Owen of Dillon, SC.
There will be a visitation held at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 US HWY 1 Rockledge, FL 32955 on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6-8 pm and a Funeral Service held at the funeral home on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11 am with burial to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
