Robert Henry Martin Desgrange, Jr.

Robert was born on July 22, 1956, in San Diego, CA to Robert and Helen Desgrange, Sr. (Hutchinson). Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother Philip.

He is survived by his wife Alice, two children Michelle Santana and Aleck Shaull (Donnie) and 2 grandchildren Caleb and Robert (Ben).

He is also survived by his brother Richard, sister Judy Stone (Mike) and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also survived Sister-in-laws Lora Anderson & Mary Edinger and Brother-in-law Aleck Johnson

He attended FIT in Melbourne.

Robert worked at his parent’s print business: Design Graphics. He was employed by RCA on Ascension Island, transferred to Computer Science Raytheon as an Instructor and SME in 1989. Robert retired medically in December 2012. He was a member of the ICG: International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE).

In retirement, he said his job became going to Doctor’s appointment only in the afternoon, being a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His passions were computer technology, ham radio KV4NF, putting on magic shows for relatives, working with his hands and cooking. Michelle and Donnie would ask who’s cooking dinner, if the reply was Mom, all of a sudden, they were no longer hungry.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10 am at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial 5950 US Hwy 1 Rockledge, FL 32955 321 636 8943
