and grew up in Jackson Heights, NY.
He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1942 during WWII, serving as an Air Force Radio Systems Operator. After the war he graduated from Queens College and went on to become a Manager for RCA in the TV industry.
In 1960 he became the Range and Communications Manager for the Missile Test Project in Cape Canaveral and San Salvador. After that he became
the VP of Sales for Fiberoptics at Telemet and in 1989 he founded Griffiths Broadcast Company.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Naomi Griffiths; daughter Lisa Vachna and son-in-law John Vachna, daughter Dara Touma and
son-in-law Antoine Touma Sr.; grandsons, Aaron Cuffee III and Antoine Touma Jr.; and granddaughters, Sara Cuffee and Madalyn Touma.
He was a converted Catholic and a dedicated church usher. On Tuesday March 10, there will be a visitation at 10:30am, funeral mass with military
honors at 11:30am and a reception following at St. John the Evangelist Chuch at 5655 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, FL 32940.
