Robert A. Walters

Bob was born April 10, 1939 in Bellevue, PA to Robert Foy and Ellen (Stinson) Walters. He is a graduate of Avonworth High School (1958) and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (1962). He worked for Hughes Aircraft Company in Culver City, CA after graduation from PITT. In 1967, he moved to Melbourne, FL and worked at Radiation/Harris Corporation until 1999 when he retired as V.P.G.M of the Harris Government Aerospace Systems Division.

Bob enjoyed Formula One Racing, traveling overseas, photography, fishing and volunteering at the South Brevard Sharing Center.

Survivors include Wilhelmina, his wife of 54 years, daughter Gail Lynn Walters and cousin, Beth Barnhart Delp. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Keith Walters; and parents Foy and Ellen Walters.

Services and internment were held on January 23, 2016 at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida.
