Stacy "Lee" Harkey

Stacy Leroy (Lee) Harkey of Titusville, FL, age 79, passed away November 26, 2018. Born in Washington, DC he came to Brevard County in 2003 from Calvert County, MD. He worked in the tool rental industry and was a veteran of the Marine Corp. Lee worked alongside his wife and son for years at Jim's Air Tool + Equipment of Calvert, a family business that they opened with some friends. They then happily retired in Titusville, FL in 2003 to live out their days camping and enjoying each other's company.

He was an involved, prominent businessman, serving once as the President of the Chamber of Commerce in Calvert County, MD He became a member of many community groups, such as the Calvert County Lions Club, National Capital Rental Association, American Legion and Elks Lodge.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty (Zollars) Harkey; his brother, Donald G. Denese (Erika) of Germany; his sister in law, Kathy Denese; and his granddaughter Adrienne Harkey and her mother, Marilyn. He is preceded in death by his only son, Patrick Frank Harkey; his father, Stacy Cain Harkey; his mother, Violet Ruth Garner; his brothers, Edward Denese and Bobby Harkey and sister, Kathy Denese.

A Graveside Service was held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
