Born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the son of William S. and Helene L. Wiese, he is survived by his brother William F. Wiese.
In 1956 his family moved to north Merritt Island where they owned and operated a mobile home park and crabbed on the Indian River. In 1964 the family moved to Melbourne, where they owned and operated a laundry-mat at the corner of Aurora and Croton. In the 1960s Stan worked for McDonnell Douglas at the Atlantic Missile Range. From the 1970s to the 1990s he serviced bubble gum machines throughout Florida for Rudiverhavier's Boys Ranch. He was a life long member of Toastmaster's International, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Stan was an avid traveler. He covered most of North America, once flying over the North Pole in a light single engine aircraft, and went on numerous cruises with his brother. He was well read and loved to do interesting and unique things, such as attending 14 concerts in 14 nights by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Stan was a kind and generous person, who did much to support family members and charitable organizations. He will be remembered as a warmhearted and gentle soul, with a childlike sincerity.
On Monday, December 19th, a viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1145 Creel St, Melbourne, from 1-2pm. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, and will be followed by interment at Rockledge Memorial Gardens.
