Sylvia A. Schuman, age 84, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Life Care Center in Melbourne. She was born in Yonkers, NY and lived in Barefoot Bay prior to moving to Satellite Beach. Sylvia had retired from US Cablevision as a secretary and was a member of the Italian American Club. Surviving Sylvia are her son, Paul (Barbara) Schuman of Satellite Beach, FL; nieces, Dorothy (Dave) Kaprowski of Ardsley, NY, Rosemary (Richard) Daddona of Fairfield, CT, and Kathleen (Sherrill) Hooks of Melbourne Beach, FL; and granddaughter, Jennifer (Eddie) Rush of Jacksonville, GA. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m., at Florida Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral serv ice directly following at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
