Terrance (Terry) F. McCrea 85 of Melbourne went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Terry was born in Redfield, Iowa on November 5, 1928, and later moved to Goshen, Indiana where he spent his youth.
A Navy veteran of the Korean War, and Purdue University Alumni, Terrance moved to Brevard County in 1965 from Huntsville, Alabama.
He worked for Chrysler and several other aerospace contractors at the Kennedy Space Center as an Electrical Engineer, and was instrumental in establishing Lockheed’s Reliability Engineering Program for the Space Shuttle Program.
Terry was a member of St May's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his children Trudy Packard of Melbourne, FL, Jane McCrea of Viera, FL, Perry McCrea and his wife Wanda of Rockledge, FL, and Michael McCrea and his wife Lisa of Waterloo, IA, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service held at 3:00pm on Monday, June 16, 2014 at St Mary's Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Terrance and Leta McCrea.
