

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Skopec, and her brother-in-law, Edward Radwinski.
Born on January 31, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was deeply family-oriented and took great pride in staying involved in every aspect of her family’s life, always ensuring everything was in order.
Theresa had a love for travel, especially cruises, and was eagerly looking forward to her next one. She carried herself with a unique blend of strength and kindness—stern when needed, yet always sweet and caring. Even during life’s most challenging moments, she remained positive and hopeful, firmly believing that things would get better.
She had a gift for connecting with people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Her warm personality and genuine nature made her well-liked by all who knew her.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Dale Mitchell; her sons, Christopher and James of Cocoa, Florida; her sisters, Chris Lee (Gary) and Carol Radwinski (Ed); and her brothers, James Skopec (Deborah) and Bob Skopec (Vicky).
A celebration of Theresa’s life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis in Titusville, Florida.
Theresa’s strength, warmth, and unwavering optimism will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.
