

She was born in Princeton, Indiana on September 22, 1924, to George and Mary Jane (Dilbeck) Hedge. In 1960 she married Joe Osborne and they were blessed with 54 years together before Joe’s death in 2015.
Gin worked for Potter and Brumfield in Princeton and retired in 1989 after 30+ years of service. Gin was a member of the Tower Heights Church of God and served as a Sunday School Teacher to toddlers for many years. After retirement Gin and Joe moved to Palm Bay, Florida, and joined the Community Church of God in Melbourne, Florida. Gin lived a full and beautiful life, she loved spending time with her family, annual trips with the “girls” from work, cross-stitching, cooking, eating anything with chocolate, and animals.
Gin is survived by her five children; Toby (Emmett) Windham, New Bern, North Carolina; Deanna (Steve) McNeece, Ft Pierce, Florida; Mark (Mary Markham) Osborne, Winslow; Pam (Chuck) Bell, Palm Bay, Florida; and Tammy (Terry) Angle, Fleming Island, Florida. She was loved by 12 grandchildren, Rick (Patti) Fulwiler, Dr. Rebecca Schmorr, Steven M. (Teresa) McNeece, Greg (Nickie) Osborne, Matt (Farrah) Osborne, Coby Reed, Casey Reed, Charlee Bales, and Suzzette Bell, Ginny (Chris) Buonpastore, Brianna (Jordan) Linden, and Brian (Wendy) Angle; 25 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Gin was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe, and siblings George Hedge Jr, Roy Pierce, Louis Pierce, John Pierce, Amy Luttrell, and Maude Foster.
A private ceremony will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice's rehoming Pet Program in memory of Virginia Osborne at communityhospice.com/Give/ Designation: Pet Peace of Mind.
