Beloved William ( Bill ) Hahn, age 85, passed away peacefully of natural causes Friday, August 30th, 2013 in Rockledge. He was born October 1, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl O. Hahn and Ruby Tamber, and most recently his loving wife Mary Ann Hahn of 58 years who passed away on the 4th of July 2012.
William ( Bill ) Hahn is survived by his children, Terri Jamison, William (Willy) Hahn and Susan Hahn. As well as his two grandchildren, Star and Alexis Jamison, and one great grand daughter Aryanna Stanford.
He was employed and retired from General Electric where he was responsible for ordering missile supplies.
His strength and dry wit will be missed by all who knew him as well as his compassion for all those whom he knew. His love for his wife and his family was forefront in his heart and hands.
He was a good man who grew greater with time. Able to change with the times he became a more loving and caring father always concerned with the security of his family. A great provider of strength and knowledge, love and compassion. A role model of what a father should be. We miss you dearly dad and we know your are reunited with mom in heaven. Peace be with you.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12 from 4 PM-5 PM at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial located at 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida, 32955. Service will be held at 5 PM with a reception to follow. Refreshments will also be served in celebration of Bill's life.
Donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida in care of the NKF Cocoa Beach Footprints in the Sand Kidney Walk . Held on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
