William Louis Sears

Billy was born on June 22, 1936 in Greenfield, Massachusetts to Wilfred Louis and Lilian Agnes (Renaud) Sears. On June 15, 1960, he married the love of his life, Anna Catherine Davoli. In their 58 years together, they raised their daughter, Theresa Ann, and were blessed with three grandchildren and four (soon-to-be five) great-grandchildren.

His dedication to family was evident throughout the years and graciously extended too many who were considered family by choice. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and former owner of Bill’s Vinyl Tops & Used Tires in Melbourne, Florida. As an active member of Ascension Catholic Church since 1967, he was honored as a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus representing his reverence to the Eucharist, willingness to protect his Church and Priests, and patriotism for the good of the nation.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred L. Sears, his mother, Lilian Agnes Sears, and his brothers, David Sears and Ronnie Sears. He is survived by his wife, Anna Catherine (Davoli) Sears, his daughter, Theresa Ann (Sears) Swartz, son-in-law, Kelly David Swartz, grandson, Matthew Swartz (Spouse, Stephanie Swartz), granddaughter, Kayla (Swartz) Aguilar (Spouse, Elijah Aguilar), granddaughter, Lydia Swartz (Fiancé, Brody Mincey), great-grandchildren, Caden, Connor, Everette, Ivy and (soon-to be) Kora, sister, Patricia L. (Sears) Spencer (Spouse/brother by choice, George Spencer) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on December 29, 2018 at Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne, Florida at 11am.
