Willis W. Moore, 81, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Friday November 14, 2014. A native of Qulin, Missouri, Willis moved to Merritt Island in 1993 from Countryside, Illinois. He worked for the railroads as a transportation supervisor after serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He was a member of the NRA and was also involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He worked for civil defense with the Countryside Police. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Madeline Moore of Merritt Island; 2 sons:Steven(wife, Lori) Moore of Merritt Island and DeWayne(wife, Sally) Moore of Harvard, Illinois; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
