Frank Zhujian passed away in Toronto, Canada, on May 19, 2017, at the age of 25. He was a beautiful, cheerful, young man who always longed for a simple life. Sensitive and intelligent, he had a keen understanding of the depths and emotions of his friends’ and family's hearts. He listened with an ever-caring ear, and spoke words of love and encouragement with his beautiful voice. He was known to be the one that always brought joy to friends and family, and to whomever he was with. He loved to help anyone in need. Frank had lived in different places throughout his young life. San Diego, California caught his heart, and he had never missed an opportunity to travel back there to be with his friends. We will always remember his infectious smile, and his loving and caring personality. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed by his family and friends. Frank graduated from Torrey Pines High School in San Diego in 2009, and attended California State University San Marcos in San Diego, Centennial College and York University in Toronto, Canada. During his young life, Frank excelled at whatever he put his mind and heart to. He was hardworking, industrious, and diligent with a creative twist in carrying any tasks/work he was taking on. During high school years, Frank worked part-time at Rubio’s Restaurant as a Guest Service Associate and was well-liked by his managers and peers. One of his most exciting experiences was his one-year internship with Active Kidz Shanghai, a sports and recreational programs for expatriate children in Shanghai. He excelled at Active Kidz, and received raving performance reviews. As an avid lover of sports, Frank had played basketball, competitive soccer in middle school, and junior varsity soccer in high school. He was also passionate about break dancing in high school, and spent countless hours practicing and perfecting the moves with his friends. Frank loved singing and listening to music, and was a member of the school choirs from the elementary school through the middle school. One of his most loved activities was playing computer games, particularly with his friends. Frank was a caring and loyal friend, and a loving son and brother. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, and friend. Funeral and a lovely memorial services were held on July 22, 2017 at the Highland Funeral Home- Scarborough Chapel at 3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T 3K3, Canada. A graveside service will be held in Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, Maryland, USA in October,2017.
