Joy Renee Golden

On February 21, 2012, Joy Renee Golden (nee Diatz) of Potomac, Maryland. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Rodney Golden; her devoted brother, Sylvan Diatz (Maxine); her loving sons, Kenneth Golden (Ellen) of Durango, Colorado and Michael Golden (Tiffany) of San Marcos, California; her adored grandchildren, Hadley Golden and Marissa Golden; and her many cherished extended family members and friends.

Joy taught school and later managed real estate. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and playing games. She loved spending summers with her family and friends in Ocean City Maryland.

Funeral services will be held at Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapels in Rockville, Maryland on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, Maryland. Family will be observing Shiva at the residence of Joy and Rodney Golden Thursday, Friday until 4 pm and Sunday.
