JoAnn Kelly Brown

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend Jo Ann Kelly Brown went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday while surrounded by her family. To know Jo Ann was to know love, kindness, compassion and a true servant of Christ. Jo Ann enjoyed knitting, gardening, traveling, camping and spending time with her friends, family and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her sister Faye Newby and brother Paul Kelly. Jo Ann is survived by her husband Stedman (S.B.), daughter Jennifer Brown Houghton and husband Josh, son Burch Brown and wife Kristen, brother Jimmy Kelly, six grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Anna Grace and Abigail Houghton, Taylor and Colin Brown. A celebration of Jo Ann’s life and memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 15th at First Baptist Church of Rocky Mount.
