She is preceded in death by both parents, son Roy Lyman May, sister Lonis Nicholson and a brother Luther Shuler.
She is survived by her husband Robert Foster May; son Charles and Collette May of Avoca, AR; daughter Beverly LaPenske of Longmont, CO; sisters Martha Bishop, Gladys Woods, Nellie Buchanan, Virginia Ammons, all of Sylva, NC; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
