

Stewart B. (“Wild Bill”) Fugitt, 89, born to Boyd and Elsie (O’Neal) Fugitt, on August 20, 1924 in Republic, Missouri, passed quietly on September 25th, 2013, while at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Sue (Lemons) Fugitt, originally of Buffalo, Missouri, who now resides in Rogers, Arkansas.
“Bill” is also survived by three children, Kayla Malczycki and Kathy Brand of Rogers and Kim and wife, Connie Fugitt of Prairie Grove; brother, Jack Fugitt of Republic, Missouri; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.
He volunteered and served as an Army engineer in France and Germany from 1943-1945 during WWII. He owned and operated many businesses in the northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri areas including livestock auctions, a meat processing plant, numerous farming operations, a jewelry store, a wholesale beer distributorship and finally as a real estate developer.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Rogers, Arkansas.
He shall be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the First Christian Church, 905 S. 13th St., Rogers, Arkansas.
