Bruce Allen Newton age 68, formerly of Bartow, Florida, passed away on 30 January 2026 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born 26 February 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas he was the son of the late Charles B. and Clara L. Newton. He is predeceased by his wife Linda Newton, brother Peter W. Newton and stepdaughter Candy Parisi.
He is survived by brother COL Charles B. Newton, Jr., US Army Retired (Donna), sister Marie Elaine Miller (Randy), sister Robin M. Bizjack (Stephen), sister-in-law Carol Newton, and nine nieces and nephews.
He attended Lake Hamilton High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas and later enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USNS Janas Ingram (DD938) for four years.
A veteran’s committal service will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas 11 May 2026 at 1130am.
